Jet Airways created problem to us, a Sr Citizen couple

Happy New year 2018 and Happy Makara Sankranti (Pongal) to all

We started from RPR  Raipur on 15.Nov 2017 and we had tickets upto San Francisco (SFO) via Mumbai & London

While giving the boarding passes at RPR the Jet airways person at the ticketing counter at RPR gave Boarding passes upto London and said we have to collect fresh boarding passes from London to SFO.

He did not even transferred luggage directly to SFO.

The Boarder force at London detained us for two hours in the available four hours for transferring from terminal 4 to terminal 3. They said we dont have VISA for this brief time 4 hours stay in UK. They kept us at a cell took away our passports  tickets etc., and said we will do security check and scrutinize. If everything is ok probably we will have to pay £ 150 per passenger as VISA charges. After two hours the security officer came and released us, gave Passports etc.  She gave a warning this is first time , we are releasung you, and dont stop at London without a VISA.

We have  collected baggage  and went and asked for boarding passes. They said please confirm  tickets. We have to go to another counter where someone corrected the problem confirmed the recept of payment to the Airways to SFO. We went and got our boarding passes.

So finally we have to do everything for travelling from London to SFO  from ticketing to Boarding, as though it is a fresh travel started at UK... except for paying cash again.

I hope next time the Jet Airways will transfer baggage from the place of boarding to destination, and issue all the relevant boarding passes instead of giving problems to its customers.
